Why This Reference Exists
Illinois law provides an access framework for arrest information, but finding the right record still depends on knowing who made the arrest, where the person was held, and which office keeps the next record. The Johnson County sheriff directory and Johnson County Jail are the primary local starting points for county custody. The Johnson County courthouse directory holds the route to later case events, Illinois VINE can provide participating custody notifications, and the Illinois Department of Corrections offender search covers a separate state-prison custody system with its own offender-photo rules. A booking photo is not the same thing as a court disposition.
The current Johnson County source footprint is thin. No verified public county roster, same-day or multi-day booking feed, sheriff app, or current most-wanted page was found. That gap makes the sheriff's phone and FOIA path, VINE, the Circuit Clerk route, and IDOC search useful reference points. This site gathers those official pathways and explains how they differ. It does not copy or maintain a photo collection of its own.
What Readers Find Here
The pages keep local agencies, custody systems, and court records in their proper lanes:
- The county home page combines recent-arrest, booking-record, jail-roster, and feed information, including the phone and FOIA fallback when no public Johnson County roster is available.
- City pages for Vienna, Goreville, and Cypress keep local police information distinct from the county booking path.
- Records-request notes explain how to ask for an existing booking record or photo, what fees and response timing remain unverified, and when a court docket, VINE notification, or IDOC result represents a different record state.
- Most Wanted Fugitives and Crime News distinguish wanted notices and news reports from an official booking record.

Search Partners and Referrals
Some search boxes on the site are operated by third-party providers. Those providers set their own prices, terms, and result practices. If a visitor follows a tool to a paid signup, Johnson County Busted Mugshots may receive a referral fee that helps support the site. A referral does not give this site control over a partner's pricing, data, or results, and a partner result does not replace the official record.
